Ukraine Appeal

We’re donating £1.40 from every meal to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has devastated the lives of millions of families and we want to join the effort to provide help and assistance to those affected.

That’s why, from Monday 14th-Monday 28th March (inclusive) we’ve decided to donate £1.40 from every meal upgrade* to support the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The usual cost of upgrading your main to a meal by adding fries and a drink is £2.40, which means that nearly 60%† of the cost of your upgrade will be donated to the Appeal. We hope that any funds we raise will help those fleeing from the war in Ukraine in some small way.

We’ve selected the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal because it helps to provide food and shelter for those trying to escape the conflict, and there are several charities working together to fund this appeal. In addition the UK Government has pledged to match any donations made to this appeal up to a value of £20million. You can find more information about the appeal here: Click Here.

After 28th March, we will calculate how many meal upgrades have been sold across the business and will announce our total figure raised via social media. 100% of the final amount will then be donated to the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal no later than 10th April 2022.

We’d love for you to get behind us and show your support for the people of Ukraine by upgrading to a meal whenever possible. Every £100 raised is enough to feed two families for a whole month, so every £1.40 raised gets us closer to making a real difference.
